BRANDING AND IDENTITY
The swift has become a key symbol in the design of the park
in Lukhoviсy, reflecting its aviation heritage and dynamic spirit. Known for its speed, agility, and close connection to the sky, this bird embodies the precision and innovation
of the legendary MiG aircraft produced in the city. The swift also resonates with the famed "Strizhi" aerobatic team, which performs on MiG-29 jets, further strengthening the link between the park and the world of aviation. Its symbolism inspired architectural elements, landscape design,
and the park’s branding, creating a space where aviation history and future technology merge in harmony with nature.
Our team conducted extensive research to not just create
a project for a "faceless" park, but to celebrate the city's virtues
and preserve local traditions.
Thus, the idea of the small architectural forms became aircraft structures, reflectingthe city's active aircraft manufacturing plant. The park saw the return of traditional holiday fairs,
the introduction of a dog walking area for the first time, a new skate park, and the addition of a large area with complex landscaping.
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The total area of the park is 7.9 hectares. The park originated
in the 1950s when residents decided to create a square leading from the city's main street to the "Start" cinema.
At the start of the project, the park required significant changes, literally "asking for a second life."
